Hello, friends and family!
I created this site to show off our new home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Okmulgee is about 115 miles or so east of Oklahoma City, and about 35 miles south of Tulsa. Population is 12,000-plus - a really BIG CITY! :)
On September 1 of this year (2009), we celebrated our first full year of life in Oklahoma. It's still beautiful, and we still love it!
I wanted a way for all of you to see our place without having to download a lot of large files onto your computers...thus this web page. It's here just so you can all see our home, and enjoy the changes we make along with us. I probably took waaaay too many photos, but I want you to feel that you've actually visited us by the time you leave.
You'll notice an abundance of stark white walls on the interior of our house right now - but there are a few less of them than there were originally. The living room and kitchen both enjoy new paint, and hopefully when winter arrives (and Johnny can't be outside so much), we'll get some color on a few other walls. As we paint each room, I'll be adding photos and keeping you all updated. Hope I don't bore you out of your minds!
Anyway...welcome to our Oklahoma McMansion! :)
