Now that we've started having a few days that are too cold to do anything outside, Johnny's started working a little on the inside of the house. Yaaaaay! It's a slow process...he does one wall each time he has to stay in...but it's coming along. Finally got the red going - it's matched almost perfectly to the background in my loveseat. I really like it!
Red Room, Red Room!

The "focal" wall in the living room - over the fireplace. It really pops right now, because the joining walls are such a stark white. We've got a pretty green coming...eventually. :)

The color in the second kitchen photo above is truer to the actual color. Johnny says he wasn't supposed to be in this pic, but what can I say? The man is ALWAYS in the kitchen! lol

Laundry room. We didn't plan to do this room in red, but after we got the kitchen done, it seemed like a good idea to at least do the wall you see looking in from the kitchen. The area is too small to get a really good shot, but it looks very nice. I like it a lot.
More Color!
The living room is finally painted! Yaaaaay, Johnny! These colors are actually pretty true - at least, they are on my monitor. I hope they come through the same way for all of you.

As you can see, I only have the valances up just now. But we've bought the rods for the panels, and they'll be up in a couple of days.
Let There Be Light!
We bought a new light fixture for the dining area. (There's a distant shot of the old "skeleton" fixture that was in the house when we got it on my "Heart of the Home" page.) If you look closely at the walls in the background, you can see the yellow that will be going on the kitchen walls.
